The design, I must say, is familiar and very convenient. At the bottom of the atomizer, as it often happens in the case of such maintenance-free tanks, nothing interesting awaits the user, and the pin here, of course, is not adjustable.
Further disassembly of the device is carried out by unscrewing the bottom part from the main part, after which you can suddenly discover an unconventional for such atomizers design. It is also possible to separate the ring of airflow adjustment and remove the bulb, but the rest of the metal frame is a one-piece construction, and this, in general, is not a problem at all.
The tank is equipped with two mesh vaporizers from the WX Mesh Coils line: 0.2 ohm and 0.5 ohm. The first variant is designed for power in the range from 50 to 80 watts, while the second type is suitable for quieter vaping at power from 25 to 45 watts. Visually, the replacements differ from each other by the applied information and the diameter of the exit hole. The vaporizers also work with AST-steel proprietary technology, which gives fast ignition (0.001 seconds), longer winding life (about 2000 puffs), richer flavor transfer and smart protection against cotton burning, which will work in case of lack of liquid in the tank.
The atomizer, as mentioned, is refilled from the top through the hole under the lid-slider. It is not quite convenient to do this procedure with standard 100-120 ml bottles, as the cans rest against the drip tip. The first thing that catches your eye when looking at the Reuleaux RX G box mod is, of course, its design. The device is quite different from the previous mods of this series, distinguishing itself, as it was said in the beginning, by its cyberpunk style. In addition to metal parts, the device also uses plastic in some parts and, apparently, plexiglass in the side inserts. Anyway, if you tap on these parts with something metal, you can hear a characteristic sound. It is clear that fingerprints and other traces from hands remain quite willingly on these as if glass elements.
On the front panel of the device there are some controls, including the Fire button, locking mechanism and color display with a diagonal of 0.96 inches. Just below that is a modern USB Type-C format charging connector. The other side of the boxmod bears the manufacturer’s logo and for some reason the year of release of the device. Here, next to the date 2021, is stylistically blended into the overall design hidden adjustment buttons. The rear part is characterized by decorative perforations and, to put it mildly, hard to describe appearance, as well as the device as a whole.
The locking mechanism mentioned just now works on a very simple principle: you move the raised slider upwards, and a tongue slides out, physically preventing the Fire button from being pressed.
