Watching the latest names of mods from Vaptio, it immediately becomes clear where the designers drew their inspiration from. Last time it was Spider-Man and in the form of WALLCRAWLER KIT, and now, even without looking at the design, you can definitely say that not only Spidey, but also Bruce Wayne is among the idols of the development department. The external appearance of the SUPER BAT is almost simple and laconic: the base is a rectangle with strict ends and slightly rounded side edges. Such a box is very comfortable to hold in your hand with any grip, and its rather significant weight (due to the metal case) is almost not felt.

If you don’t pay attention to the color of the device, the first thing that catches your eye is the exaggerated image of Batman’s helmet above the screen. Not only is this a piece of trash for elementary school children in itself, but it also has a batarang on the forehead and LEDs in the eyes. The + and – buttons next to the LED eyes seem to be pressed without problems, but they are located extremely poorly, it is very difficult to press them without looking, the finger constantly tries to press the LED. The back side is practically no different from the front, the same helmet with a sign on the forehead, and instead of a screen and buttons – six huge holes that look pretty good, but only until the moment the mod is turned on, then they turn into a Christmas tree and add a bit of madness with their winking. After a short epileptic fit and disabling this special effect in the menu, you begin to understand that it would be better to call the mod not SUPER BAT, but RIDDLER (Riddler), this kind of light music suits this character much better.

The sides are no different from each other (and again with the symbols of “bats”, although one of them is simply monolithic, and the second is entirely a button that is pressed only in the upper part, because its rotation axis is below.

The upper edge is entirely given only to the 510 connector. It is slightly offset from the center and is additionally framed by a shallow groove, the main purpose of which is to collect the remains of the liquid. The positive pin in the connector is pressed, and the negative part protrudes above the plane of the mod by fractions of a millimeter, which has a positive effect both on the preservation of the paintwork and in the minimal transfer of heat from the evaporator to the all-metal case.

The bottom cover is literally one to one “borrowed” from Joyetech ESPION (I admit that this is a coincidence, but maybe not). Technically, it is made exactly like this: two protrusions on the sides of the cover go into the grooves on the case and are not fixed in any other way.

Technically, I liked the mod, both in terms of feel and functionality. Externally, it is also not bad, especially when the LEDs are off and you can’t see the front part (in the black version, they are not even particularly noticeable). The only problem that puzzled me is the rare (once out of 8-10) strange operation of the mod when installing new batteries. It may not turn on the first time, and I can’t even figure out why, but after 2-3 openings/closings of the lid, it works fine.
