Review of KSD B80 by Kangside
Today we have a new box mod from the company Kangside, which released the same Vamo. The new product is called KSD B80 and is a box mod for 18650/26650 on a board from YiHi. Well, this is a new trend and everyone wants to grab the jackpot, although 26650 batteries are not that popular.

The box mod overall doesn’t look bad, like most of the company’s products, but it’s a bit rustic. The body is made of zinc alloy and is available in three colors: black, red and white. The dimensions of the box mod are as follows: 88x46x30, weight 143g. Thus, you can install fairly large atomizers on the box mod.

It’s very nice that Kangside didn’t reinvent the wheel and used the YiHi SX150H board, which is much better than the own designs of most Chinese companies. e-liquids in australia The board has the following technical characteristics: maximum power 80W, minimum resistance 0.12 ohm, 0.05 ohm for thermal control at temperatures of 100-300C or 212-572F. All basic levels of protection are present, the display is 0.69 OLED.
As I said above, the box mod runs on 18650 or 26650 batteries, this is implemented, as in all other box mods, using a case.

The battery is charged using connectors, you heard right, there are two of them! One of them is lightning from apple, the second is for charging from Nokia. To be honest, this is the strangest and most incomprehensible technical solution in all the time that I have been reviewing devices.

The connector is not deprived of a spring-loaded central contact. A platform of 30 mm will allow you to use very large atomizers; there is also a platform for atomizers with a diameter of 22 mm, so that they do not look too small.

Well, it seems like we’ve sorted everything out, it’s time to sum it up. I’ll start with the price, which is $70, which is clearly too much, and that’s an understatement. Devices with exactly the same technical characteristics are available at a much lower price, so I would only buy it if there was at least a 50% promotional discount on it. But overall it’s a very good device, I don’t see any downsides in it except the price.
