Review of Asmodus Minikin 3S 200W TC Kit with Viento Tank

Minikin 3S 200W TC Kit is the new flagship kit from Asmodus, equipped with a Viento Tank atomizer. Compared to its predecessor, the mod has undergone quite serious technical and visual changes. In short, the mod has got a new board and a fingerprint sensor, and a wireless charging function.

For the atomizer, this set is debut and I will tell you about its features below. It has a volume of 3.5 ml, has a very interesting airflow and a fast top filling system.

General information and design

The box mod has a very ergonomic shape, and one of the faces is shaped to fit the fingers of the hand. Compared to its predecessor, a carbon fiber insert appeared in the interior of the box mod, which, in my opinion, is not the best solution. australian vaping The connector platform, in turn, has acquired protrusions that limit the maximum diameter of the atomizer to 27 mm. The general appearance of the device suits me, but for some reason the color schemes bring back memories of Kangertech very strongly. Otherwise, the device strongly resembles its predecessor, which is not so bad, but you need to focus on the fact that they are from the same line.

Technical characteristics are on par with competitors, but the number of operating modes can surpass some of them. One of the main features of the mod will be the Fire button with a fingerprint scanner. Why I need it is not very clear to me, except perhaps as a protection against children, but it’s still nice that so much modern technology is beginning to be used in the vaping industry. The second and, perhaps, the most important feature of the mod is the possibility of wireless charging. I am almost 100% sure that this device is not the first with such technology and I can confidently say that such technologies insanely simplify your life. That’s just there are minutes, the charging stand is not included in the kit and is purchased separately. And I have not yet found any information about compatibility with wireless chargers from phones. The battery compartment is located at the bottom of the box mod under a hinged lid.

The volume of the tank is quite good and could be much larger if bubble glass was provided. The top filling is located under the hinged lid and fully compensates for the lack of volume. The 810 drip tip has also become a nice bonus, so you can easily change it to any custom one from your arsenal.

Airflow is as many as three adjustable holes, which hints at unrealistically high power. I also completely forgot to mention that the atomizer is fully compatible with SMOK Baby vaporizers.

Conclusions and impressions

This set gives me quite mixed feelings. The box mod has some unrealistically cool features, such as a touch button with a fingerprint scanner and the ability to wirelessly charge, but for me personally, I don’t really see the point in them. Nevertheless, they deserve quite a lot of attention and very strongly distinguish the box mod from other devices from the competitive range.

The atomizer, in turn, turned out to be quite simple and unpretentious, and capable of producing huge clouds, mainly due to its unrealistically huge airflow. And a very important point is the support of SMOK Baby vaporizers.
