Review of Nasty Fix GO 5000

Review of Nasty Fix GO 5000

In today’s review we will talk about the continuation of the line of disposables with liquids from Malaysia – Nasty Fix GO 5000 from the popular manufacturer Nasty Juice.

The packaging of the devices has a familiar and even familiar design: multicolored boxes with elements highlighted with transparent varnish. On the front side there is an image of the device with a large logo of the manufacturer and even a signed flavor, on the top right the name Fix GO and the number of puffs (5000 PUFFS), just below – nicotine strength and a signed pictogram of the used vaporizer on the MESH COIL grid. Below and to the left, it is indicated that our device is rechargeable and equipped with a modern USB Type-C connector. australian vape shop perth At the bottom, in addition to the large obligatory warning about the harm of nicotine once again you can read the name of the flavor of the liquid that is filled in the device. On the back are the standard marketing chips, warnings, restrictions and mix composition.

The top flap of the box is sealed with a small seal. Its main purpose is not so much to control the opening (the package can be easily opened from the bottom), but to check the originality and “lure” with a drawing for $250000. You can read more about the protection itself and the raffle in our review of the Nasty Fix GO 1500 puff pack.

Comparison of Nasty Fix GO 5000 (left) and Nasty Fix GO 3000 packaging

Nasty 5000 disposables have almost the same design as the recently reviewed 3000-puff ones. Of course, in direct comparison the difference between the two versions is noticeable (different arrangement of elements, slightly different inscriptions and different sizes). But if you take the box in your hands for the first time, it’s not so obvious at all.

Inside, the devices are hermetically sealed in blue bags with a bright yellow Nasty logo on one side and the words FIX GO and FIND YOUR FIX. on the other. There is no flavor designation on this packaging. But if you want, you can still see the writing on the wall of the device with the name of the mix. There are notches on the top near the edge of the package that allow you to get to the contents without scissors.

In addition to the package, two silicone parts also serve as protection. One of them is a stopper that plugs the mouthpiece, the second one is a decent-sized cap hiding the whole bottom part with holes and charging connector.

Appearance and design of the Nasty FIX GO 5000

All we can say about the device is that it is the second most popular disposable format on the market after cylindrical sticks – a “box” with a mouthpiece sticking out of the side. This shape allows you to place the tank and battery in the body more compactly. And you can put such a “box” with a decent supply of liquid not only in a bag, but even in a shirt pocket. The devices are entirely made of plastic, the top and bottom surfaces are glossy, but the side walls are matte and rough. At first I had the thought that it was a sticker, but no, this is how the case is manufactured. On one side of the disposable you can see the Nasty logo, the name of the device, the flavor of the liquid and the number of puffs. On the opposite side is the RECHARGEABLE inscription and the serial number of the device.

Despite the impressive number of promised puffs, the device itself is small and easily fits in the palm of your hand. Although it tends to be similar in size to a single-battery box mod or a serviced AIO. But still it is noticeably more compact and weighs less. And you won’t find any buttons or screen here, the electronics is triggered solely by the puff sensor, you take a drag – you get vapor.

The Nasty Fix GO 5000 not only has similar packaging to the 3000 puff devices, but also the design. Although you definitely can’t go wrong here – the shape of the devices is noticeably different.

The mouthpiece of the device is small in thickness, practically rectangular, slightly rounded at the top and stronger on the ribs. It does not get hot during active vaping, and it is simply comfortable. If you want and have powerful facial muscles, you can even try to hold it in your teeth without hands. But this is already a dubious entertainment. At the bottom there are a charging connector, an air intake hole and an indicator eye. There are also two standard pictograms (you will see them better on the photo further on) and four tiny legs that hold the case in a vertical position on a flat hard surface.

Near the mouthpiece we found a small black silicone plug, which is not very conspicuous. Yes, that is exactly the refill hole! Naturally, you could vaporize whatever is already inside and then pour some gamey something of your own into the single-use.

Indicator and charging of the Nasty Fix GO 5000 disposable

When using the disposable, a blue LED lights up at the bottom, if you want, you can just cover it with your hand, it is not bright and does not catch the eye. True, it is also difficult for the user to see it. The manufacturer on its website calls it no other than Smart LED Indicator, but what is “smart” in it, they forgot to explain. And during the time of use I haven’t noticed anything unusual in its behavior: it lights up when puffing and charging, and blinks when the battery is low. The charging current is not high, only 0.5A, but there is a pastru mode – you can continue vaping with the cable connected.

Flavors of Nasty Fix GO 5000

The line of Nasty Fix GO 5000 devices by the time of publication includes 15 flavors from different lines of the manufacturer’s liquids released at different times. All of the current mixes made their way to me and are described below.

Inside each single-use vape is a rechargeable battery that contains a chemically active alkaline metal – lithium. Such batteries should not be thrown away with household garbage, but should be taken to recycling or special disposal.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Cush Man

Manufacturer’s description: Our legendary mango flavor is on the list of the world’s best sellers every year.

Nasty Fix GO 5000 Cush Man one-shot

Let’s start considering the device with a branded mango from the Malaysian company – Cushman is not only included in all possible lines of disposables of the manufacturer, but is also a multiple prize-winner of various contests and vape exhibitions. Immediately after opening the bag you can hear the resinous skin and sweetness of the pulp, which in a puff turn into a gorgeous multifaceted sour-sweet flavor with notes of peel and sugar fruit. At first the exhale doesn’t even seem to be particularly cold, but after a couple of seconds the cooler seems to reach the brain and the ice is felt somewhere near the back of the head. This is the only thing that keeps you from taking another puff immediately. And, of course, the high nicotine strength. Very tasty.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Asap Grape

Manufacturer’s description: Taste the mouthwatering sweetness of ripe black grapes.

From the device comes an aroma in which you can catch both grapes and notes of black currant, or rather tart berry skins. In the pairing, the composition becomes like a sweet drink, somewhat reminiscent of a cold punch with bright juicy pulp in the middle of the puff and a tart aftertaste of the rind on the tongue after the exhale. Dark, almost sugary on the taste, but not with a hint of caramel, but rather fruit toffee, which was taken out of the freezer and immediately offered to you. Another Nasty ASAP GRAPE hit, not badly realized as a disposable.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Strawberry Bubblegum

Manufacturer’s description: Ripe strawberries combined with the retro flavor of sweet bubblegum.

From the mouthpiece you can hear the smell of sugar-sweet bubblegum with an indeterminate flavor. It’s just a fruity bubblegum, but the fact that it’s specifically with strawberries is not easy to realize. To tell the truth, the taste sensation is the same: you can hear the sweetness, tart and starchy base of the gum. But the berries seem to be there, and even with a slight creamy tinge, but it is difficult to say that it is strawberries. Both in the puff and in the quickly melting aftertaste it is more like a berry jam, sweet and with digested pips, which for some reason was mixed with bubble gum. If you’re not picky, you won’t be too upset.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Vanilla Cuban Tobacco

Manufacturer’s description: Soft, strong tobacco with a subtle aroma of vanilla pods.

Both in smell and taste the mix very remotely resembles tobacco flavor, rather it is something very sweet and vanilla, suspiciously close to condensed milk. In the puff on the inhale the sensations are exactly the same. But on the exhale and in the aftertaste, besides vanilla and cream, there is a tinge of tobacco leaf, but it is rather its pale ghost than a really bitter and tart flavor. And although I myself like such sweet, dessert tobaccos very much, but I can’t advise those who are waiting for a really “evil” and bitter taste of burnt paper or ashiness to use this one-time tobacco. For those who like dairy and dessert flavors, I can.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Double Apple Shisha

Manufacturer’s description: A subtle smoky flavor with sweet red and tangy green apples.

The smell could rather be called cider, it is bright, apple, noticeably sour and slightly dried, like an unripe apple that has been held over a fire. The vapor tastes very much like a mixture of apple pulp and aniseed, there is almost no tobacco here as well as in the previous mix, and the whole composition is very similar to a brisk sour drink with slightly tart and spicy notes, into which the dried tobacco leaf has turned. A 99% fruity mix that would be hard to find tobacco in. But still very flavorful nonetheless.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Passion Fruit

Manufacturer’s description: Pleasant and tart, with a slight hint of sweetness like a real passion fruit.

From the opened packet you can smell a sweet flavor with a slight sourness, there are no notes of caramel or sugar, and at the same time it is without a touch of cheminess or any harshness. And since I’ve been finding passion fruit in mixes with mango a lot lately, I’m seeing the second fruit here as well. The vapor tastes as great as it smells: sweet and sour, juicy, flavorful and yet fresh, not least because of the cooler that settles on your throat after each puff. A great mix that can single-handedly replace some multifruit, you can find both mango and even citrus tones for yourself here. All in all, love it.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Tobacco & Dates

Manufacturer’s description: A classic blend of tobacco and rich, caramel-sweet dates.

Unlike Vanilla Kubana, this one-time vape actually smells like tobacco. And there is no doubt about it because of the tart herbaceous tinge in the flavor. And it has every right to be called “tobacco”, despite the same sweetness and fruity mixed with floral notes, which are clearly felt on the exhale and aftertaste. The main body of the composition, which will dominate from inhale to aftertaste, is dry, bitter and ashy tobacco leaf on the throat, which also gives a characteristic exhaust. If there were less sweetness here, it would be gorgeous in general. But even when paired with dates it turned out fine.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Rose Milk

Manufacturer’s description: A sweet, creamy rose milk flavor that will instantly brighten up your day.

Both the name and the color of the package design already hint that the liquid in this disposable is suitable for princesses, glamorous blondes and just unicorns who even poop rainbows. The smell from the device is floral and a little creamy, in the vapor it is not that it becomes perfumed (although you could say so), but it has exactly the same flavor as rose petals – grassy, a little sour and with a huge portion of pollen. And it’s all laced with a milky background that gives a sweetness on the aftertaste and a throat cooler.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Lychee

Manufacturer’s description: A flavorful and well-balanced taste of real lychee.

I can safely call this flavor one of my favorites. Although it very much overlaps with the previous one because of the similar, almost floral and rather pungent composition of the specific fruit. But in the pairing here it is not sweetness and perfumery that comes first, but the sour, even slightly bitter flavor of the pulp, which by the exhalation flows into an icy crust on the throat and turns into a smoothie of lychee and crushed ice. There’s kind of no doubt that there aren’t many fans of these flavors, but I’m among them.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Watermelon Ice

Manufacturer’s description: Sweet, juicy watermelon with a dash of icy mint creates a fresh vibe that lasts all day.

Another old acquaintance of mine, which, however, is becoming more and more stable and clear with each new version of the Nasty disposable. From the mouthpiece one is greeted by the smell of sweet watermelon caramel, sugary and rather smudgy – green crusts and red pulp mixed into one mass. On the inhale, a sugary middle awaits with an icy crust that coats your throat tightly and confidently with each puff. By the exhale the mix acquires a touch of greenery and gains freshness, the composition already becomes like a white, but still sweet pulp, and by the aftertaste there is coldness, light sweetness and the same imperceptible, but pleasant sourness. A great summer variant that will help to refresh in the heat.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Red Energy

Manufacturer’s description: A delicious blend of fruit and berry essence with the energy drink flavor you crave.

The familiar flavor familiar to all energy drinkers can be heard from the pouch, completely matching what you get from the puff as well. It is a mixture of various invigorating flavors with a slight tinge of caramel and barberries, already at the very beginning pleasing with sourness on the inhale and ending with an aftertaste, as after a sip of ice-cold soda, with a slight tingle on the tongue.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Peach Lemonade

Manufacturer’s description: Incredibly delicious and refreshing combination of peach and lemonade.

Judging by the smell, it’s a slightly dried velvety peach peel laced with citrus zest. The flavor is certainly pleasant, but nowhere near what you’d expect from a “peach lemonade”. The taste is much more interesting and much more in line with the description. On the inhale peach juice rolls to the throat, cold, fresh and without too much sugar, leaves a pleasant coolness in the mouth and with the exhale turns into not so rich, but just a flavorful skin, to which a light pinch of zest was added. Yes, the slightly sour and cold pulp is very similar to the natural pulp in the middle of the puff, but with the exhale there is a carameliness that makes the mix turn into a carbonated drink. Pleasant, not cloying, even a little vanilla and tickling your throat with fresh peach skins.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Watermelon Gummy

Manufacturer’s description: A delicious candied watermelon to sweeten your day.

Judging by the smell from the device, it’s another variant of Lush Ice that has had a couple of gum wafers added to it. And I don’t think I’ve seen this mix in Nasty Fix disposables yet. As for the flavor, everything is much more interesting. Watermelon here is represented by the same cold sugar candy, which with light notes of seeds, but without accent on pulp or crust, rolls in a wave from inhale to aftertaste. But it is in the exhale that a hint of bubble gum is added to it, and one that is just as icy and freezing your throat. A refreshing and rich mix, for fans of watermelon sweets, I recommend giving it a try.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Strawberry Ice Cream

Manufacturer’s description: Sweet and creamy strawberry ice cream flavor will brighten your days.

The berry flavor is very bright, slightly vanilla and downright creamy, it’s like 2015 came back to me, when strawberry and cream reigned undivided in every line of any manufacturer. But Nasty wouldn’t be us if you didn’t realize from the first puff that the product in front of you is Malaysian, and Ice Cream in the name almost literally means “frozen cream”, not “ice cream”. Yes, the cooler was not spared here, but both creamy and berry parts are perfectly revealed, instead of drowning in this icy vortex. It seems simple, but it’s very tasty and even delicious because of the cold.

Nasty Nasty Fix GO 5000 – Peach Ice

Manufacturer’s description: Catch the summer vibe with this incredibly delicious peach ice cream.

The fruit flavor here is almost natural, there are no skins and zest anymore – it all smells like a fresh, just cut peach. But already in the pairing the skins are practically palpable on the tongue, sour-bitter, a bit dry, on the exhale and aftertaste with the juice of the pulp and, of course, a handful of fizzy ice. Not only peach lovers will enjoy it.

Impressions

There will be no conclusions as such. Simply because the devices themselves are good – perfectly assembled, beautifully designed, compact, non-flowing, with charging via a modern USB Type-C connector and even the ability to refuel (!), and the flavors are mostly great.
