Review of Kangertech Subox mini-c

Today I will tell you about another starter kit from Kangertech. Not so long ago, about a year and a half ago, when 50 watts was ultra-high power, the Subox mini starter kit from Kangers was so popular that you could easily be ridiculed for not having it. Every self-respecting steamer had it. Since then, a lot of water has passed under the bridge, and the set has been redesigned and improved several times. And now another update has arrived in the form of Subox mini-c.

The appearance of the set has not changed very much and generally remains in its own style. I would even say that it has not changed at all, but still the new atomizer slightly changes its perception. The box mod still remains compact and its size is 82x38x22 mm, the height with the atomizer is 135 mm. If I’m not mistaken, the set will have 5 colors, so there will be plenty to choose from.

Since the set is intended exclusively for beginners, its technical characteristics of the board are appropriate. australian vape shop perth The maximum power is limited to 50 W, the minimum resistance is 0.3 ohm. There is no thermal control. The box mod runs on one 18650 battery, which you can charge via micro-usb. Does this remind you of anything? In fact, this is the same box mod at all, without any changes. On the one hand, this is bad because Kanger did not present anything new, on the other hand, I still have this box mod, and it is still alive, unlike many others. Thus, I don’t consider it necessary to reinvent the wheel when there is such a good and trouble-free box mod, especially when it comes to beginners. They want a device that won’t stop working after 3 weeks like my RX200.

But what needed improvement was the atomizer. New atomizer in the Subtank Mini-C kit, running on Kanger SSOCC replacements. Their main advantage is that they are affordable, varied, and for beginners they are one of the best options for replacement evaporators. Included with the starter kit is a 0.5 ohm changer with stainless steel winding, operating from 15 to 50 W. The tank volume is 3 ml, which is not so small, and the top filling will add a lot of pleasure to you.

What is so special about the tank? It consists in the possibility of changing the evaporator even with a fully filled tank. How is it implemented? Yes, it’s very simple, they decided to return the old possibility of bottom filling, which in ancient times made it possible to change evaporators with a fully filled tank. I just don’t recommend filling the tank this way, because there is a top screw cap on the tank. But that’s not all, now you can regulate the flow of liquid, or even shut it off in order to avoid leaks during refueling or protect yourself from leaks in your pockets. To do this, you need to remove the tank cap and rotate the atomizer body, everything is as simple as shelling pears.

The airflow remains bottom and adjustable. The airflow is adjusted by turning the adjustment ring at the bottom of the tank. I have no information about the cigarette puff, but I didn’t notice it in the screenshots. On the other hand, it may be in the cuts for blowing and it is simply not visible.

It’s time to take stock. I really liked this device, but I think that the maximum power could be raised to 80 W, and the minimum resistance could be lowered to at least 0.15. And so, it turns out that the box mod is inferior in technical characteristics to absolutely all its competitors. However, I don’t know anyone who constantly squeezed out all 80 watts on the same Pico. All these people use no more than 50 on a daily basis. The set costs $30, and I don’t see any reason to pass it up. The box mod is so durable that you will most likely even be able to sell it after you switch to something more powerful. In short, Lucas to the Kangers for bringing back the legend and another for refining the tank.
